Aziende che vendono computer con GNU/Linux preinstallato
Elenco di alcune aziende che vendono computer: notebook e desktop, con il sistema operativo GNU/Linux “distro customizzata” preinstallato. Altre aziende non hanno distro customizzate, è possibile scegliere tra le distro GNU/Linux più conosciute ed utilizzate. Nulla toglie che nei computer con distro customizzate, è possibile installare la propria distro GNU/Linux preferita.
Il sistema operativo GNU/Linux ha una compatibilità molto alta, sia su hardware nuovo che rigenerato. Ma per avere la certezza, è opportuno fare delle verifiche tramite i siti web dei produttori hardware. Cercare dei riferimenti sulla compatibilità ho certificazione.
Una procedura molto semplice per verificare che il proprio computer sia compatibile con le periferiche hardware interne ed esterne, è utilizzare una chiavetta USB avviabile. Il sistema operativo GNU/Linux può avviarsi in modalità live. Ovvero la possibilità di eseguire l’intero sistema operativo senza doverlo installare.
